Allan Lobozzo: Head Coach/GM:
Allan is a Regional Level (Level III)accredited
USSA coach who has coached eight (8)
years at Shawnee Peak and six (6) years
at Gould/Sunday River. Father of 5
alpine ski racers and a former
chairperson of the MARA children’s
committee, he grew up in Europe and
competed both internationally and in
college before becoming a journalist and
then an attorney.

Jonathan
Lobozzo: J4 Coach. Jonathan is a
Maine state ski champion in his fourth
year coaching at Shawnee. He is a Senior
at Bates College where he co-captained
the varsity
soccer team.

Rod Sutkowski:
Head J5 Coach. Rod is a long-time
Shawnee Peak race coach who brings his
USSA credentials and years of coaching
and teaching to the young racers of
Shawnee Peak. He is a stickler on
fundamentals and has laid the groundwork
for the future success of countless
Shawnee athletes.
Rod is a graduate of Notre Dame
University, and when not on the slopes
of Shawnee Peak is happiest in Zermatt,
Switzerland.

CarlisleTuggey:
Carlisle is a graduate of Green Mountain
Academy and Bates College. During her
Bates years she coached at Sunday River
before heading out west and directing
the J4 program at a major resort. She
brings indispensable perspective and
experience to the program.
When not on the hill, Carlisle
practices law in Portland.

Eric Wallace:
Eric's most
recent history is as coach of the
Freeport, Maine, high school team.
Before that Eric grew up in Colorado
and cut his teeth as a junior racer
with the Aspen Ski Club. He progressed
through the ranks of western skiing
before coming east to race in Eastern
Cups and FIS-level events. After
retiring from the race circuit, Eric
coached at his almamater, Aspen Ski
Club, as well as for the Mt. Hood
Meadows Ski Team, predominantly with
older athletes. Eric moved
East for work and now has his own
salt-water fly fishing guide company.

Matthew Whalen: A high
school and USSA racer with quality
technical abilities and a long history
racing and training with SPRT, Matt is
in his second year on the coaching
staff. His role is to use his ski
technique to provide valuable visual
imagery to the J4 and J5 athletes.

SCOTT DAVIS:
A
life-long skier and racer at Shawnee
Peak, Scott brings his enthusiasm and
knowledge of skiing to the hill every
day in his capacity as coach of the
development youngsters, those aspiring
racers between the ages of 5 and 8 years
of age. Scott is a graduate of Maine
Maritime Academy and is a merchant
marine who comes ashore to ski!

ALEX BURNHAM:
Alex
joins Scott Davis with the "base of the
pyramid", the 5 to 8 year-olds who
represent the future of SPRT. A
long-time racer and sports enthusiast,
Alex has the athleticism and youth
required to help shape the future of ski
racing. He attends the University of
Southern Maine where he plays varsity
soccer when not studying.

KARA KIMBALL:
Kara joins us this
year to lend her enthusiasm to the 5 - 8
year olds. She raced and trained with
SPRT as a youngster and has a younger
sister, Allison, who is still on the
team. Kara is a senior at Bates College
and a welcome addition to our roster.

TARA ERETZIAN:
Tara qualifies as
SPRT "adjunct faculty". She is
officially the head coach of a
burgeoning Edward Little High School,
Auburn, Maine, alpine ski team. However,
this year her athletes from EL, and SPRT
athletes, will train together on select
days in an effort to provide synergistic
benefits to both camps. A graduate and
racer at Plymouth State College, she
coached for the Team Summit Ski Team in
Colorado before moving back east.
